8 years ago in Dallas we heard about this awesome new organization, the Birthday Party Project, from Lisa & Karen of Katwalk Kids.  Their showroom was just down the hall from ours back in our wholesale trade-show market days.  

Their mission is to bring JOY to children experiencing homelessness through the MAGIC of a birthday party.
We believe that JOY changes lives, and a JOYful community can change the world.
With the help of our birthday enthusiasts (that’s you!) we host monthly birthday parties at homeless and transitional living facilities across the country. We celebrate all children (ages 1-21) that have a birthday that month, and we invite all children and family members staying at the agency to join us for the party.
Our one hour celebration is a chance for kids to dream big! Our parties are so much more than a celebration – they are a loud exclamation point that kids matter!

We started donating samples to them - a box or two each season.  Over the years its become an annual project as we go through our Salida warehouse.  Brand new product donated to this amazing organization bringing joy to so many kids!  

During this "spring break staycation" we are preparing the next round of donations.  With this much time it will be a BIG donation!  Sorting, counting, packing - and finally preparing it to ship to Texas.  

If you would like to participate please donate money towards the cost of shipping.  It will be hundreds of pounds and we are working with UPS to get the best rates.  Since we can't invite you to physically help us in the warehouse, you can help get the donations into the hands of these appreciative kids!  So join in on this joyful journey!
